Thanks to Randy for organizing and leading a productive planning session. The direction the organization is headed is very positive and our services to Kansas biology teachers are in line with their needs. Scott, thanks for the opportunity to reflect. Brad’s comments about the importance of scholarship are words often lost on high school and community college teachers because it is not an expectation of our employment. Perhaps we should view our KABT blog as part of our “giving back” to the profession. That’s why we are involved on the KABT board. Part of it may be selfish. As Pat Lamb comments every time we get together, “it get’s me fired back up”. We can keep that sense of connectedness and inspiration by taking a few minutes to submit a post or comment on a post. If you think about it, what you are doing is taking time to recharge yourself by sharing with others. Thanks again folks, I always enjoy our time together. Josie and Brian, welcome!
Todd
