    Looks like you have a companion plant (Asarum-wild ginger) to that orchid. I thought at first you were in a grove of pawpaw’s and one had lost it’s bloom, except the pawpaw has more petals.     Morchella esculenta

     

    This group of morels were beneath buckbrush, nettles and Virginia creeper at the base of an elm.

     

    Hiding in the under brush was a clone of orchids (Orchis spectabilis), soon to bloom.
