The Kansas Association of Biology Teachers is a group of current and former educators interested in advancing the practice of science teaching within and beyond the borders of the state of Kansas. Through fellowship amongst members, the sharing of information, and the free interchange of ideas, our objective is to foster passion and appreciation for the life sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KABT 2026 Fall Conference Information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join us for the 2026 Kansas Association of Biology Teachers Fall Conference on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Prophet Aquatic Research and Outreach Center (PAROC) in Emporia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the day, we\u2019ll hear presentations from fellow biology teachers, share ideas, and learn from one another. We\u2019ll also have opportunities to explore PAROC\u2019s grounds, including King Lake and nearby areas used for riparian restoration and other hands-on environmental learning. Most importantly, the conference is a chance to learn from and alongside amazing biology educators from across Kansas, build community, make new connections, and have some fun together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
