Interested in bringing cutting-edge evolutionary science to your school and community?\u00a0\u00a0Apply to be a stop on NESCent\u2019s 2015\u00a0Darwin Day Roadshow<\/a>.<\/p>\n

NESCent<\/a>\u00a0(The National Evolutionary Synthesis Center) is an NSF-funded evolution research center.\u00a0\u00a0To celebrate Charles Darwin\u2019s contributions to science and society, we send our scientists on the road every year around \u201cDarwin Day\u201d (the annual, world-wide celebration of Darwin\u2019s birthday on Feb. 12<\/span>th<\/sup>) to talk to students, teachers and the general public about their research and career opportunities in science.\u00a0\u00a0Our focus is on small, rural communities (i.e., places that wouldn\u2019t likely have a Darwin Day celebration if they weren\u2019t a stop on our Roadshow) and any schools with traditionally under-served students.\u00a0\u00a0There is no cost to you, the teachers, and we\u2019ll even leave you with a collection of evolution teaching resources!<\/p>\n
